A real bike shop serving generations of local people
For over 100 years G&G Cycle Centre has been the premier bike shop for miles around. Based in the heart of Dumfries town centre , we have been providing both locals and vistors to Scotland and the Dumfries and Galloway area with the highest standard of pre and after sales service. Our knowledge and experience is second to none and you will always get honest help and advice, whether planning a dream custom build or simply needing some free air for your tyres and some route advice. It was and still is a family run business. We are open 10am to 4pm, 5 days a week, with early opening on Tuesday and a late opening on Thursdays.

We are so lucky to live amongst some of the very best cycling country side in the South West of Scotland. However it does need the right equipment to enjoy it. We carefully choose our products to provide the best experience possible while making sure we can always provide the correct level of after sales support. Our bike brands Basso, Genesis, Ridgeback, Ridley, Rock Machine, MiRider and Superior are all designed for our British climate and conditions which means we can be confident of customer satisfaction. Something we never take for granted and work hard to maintain.

The world of retail has changed so much especially in the last few years. Though you the customer, are still the most important part of our business, that will never change! In order to make your visit to the shop as personalised as possible we have developed a brand new way to do business. We are open Monday - Saturday 9am-5pm. If you want to browse, drop off your bike for repair, have a coffee and a blether about the latest gadgets or who's the favourite for the Tour win. Your always welcome!

Service and Custom builds
Don't trust your pride and joy with just anyone. We will take care of your bike as if it were our own. Use our unique live online booking app to get a priority time slot. You will get your back faster and as all parts used are price matched you know your going to get good value too!
